Mr. Jeremy Zwinger, president and chief executive officer of the Rice Trader, presented the World’s Best Rice 2017 to Pol Lt. Charoen Laothamatas, President of the Thai Rice Exporters Association on November 8, 2017. Thailand was voted to have the best fragrant rice in the world in the latest global competition held in Macau from 6-8 November 2017. The competition, the 2017 World Rice Conference, saw seven counties competing for the world’s best rice title Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, the US, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar entering 21 different rice varieties. |
